Working Team
We’re not just a team. We’re fellow travelers. Fellow Travellers and a Team in making
We’re not just a team. We’re fellow travellers and a Team in making
At Kuflon Charitable Trust, we didn’t start with a structure. We started with a shared purpose. We believe meaningful work begins with presence—being here, listening, and walking alongside the communities we serve.
We come from different places and professions, but what brings us together is a shared love for the Himalayas, and a quiet commitment to build something honest, lasting, and rooted.
Some of us come from classrooms and boardrooms. Some from the mountains themselves. But somewhere along the way, our paths crossed—with a common belief that real change begins with presence, listening, and walking with communities, not ahead of them.
This is the team that shapes, steers, and holds the spirit of KCT.
Shree Singh
Managing Trustee & Director – Partnerships
Shree blends legal insight, management expertise, and deep field experience. After moving to Uttarkashi 15 years ago, she rooted herself in community development—working especially with children and teachers across the Assi Ganga Valley.
Rohitash Thapliyal
Managing Trustee & Director – Programs
With over a decade in the development sector, Rohitash brings the rigour of academia and the heart of a community builder. A doctorate in Literature may have started him in classrooms—but his purpose pulled him into villages, where he’s led impactful programs across India.
Ruma Dubey
Consultant – Resource Mobilization
A financial strategist with over 30 years of experience, Ruma brings a unique blend of economics, writing, and market insight. She grounds our work in sharp analysis and long-view thinking, helping us align vision with viable resource paths.
Krishna Yoganarasimha
Consultant – IT & Digital With nearly 20 years of consulting experience, Krishna ensures our systems are strong behind the scenes. His expertise in strategy, tech, and operational efficiency helps KCT stay future-ready—even while rooted in remote contexts.
Note: Both Shree Singh and Rohitash Thapliyal also serve on the Trust Board, ensuring strong continuity between program leadership and organizational governance.
Our Extended Family
We’re held up by many more hands:
- ASHA workers and community health volunteers
- Local leaders and Pradhans
- Youth and teachers from our partner villages
- Allies and partner organizations who believe, like we do, in ground-up change
They may not all be on payroll—but they’re in the field, in the stories, and in every milestone we reach.
